Quality Assurance of T&L

The Danes Educational Trust has published a Teaching & Learning Quality Assurance Framework:

• To ensure a high quality, detailed and consistent assessment of Teaching and Learning can be made across all DET schools. 

• To enable the identification of evidence-based best practice within Teaching and Learning in DET schools and the effective and timely dissemination of these approaches across the DET.  

• To enable the effective and timely mobilisation of CPD resources across the DET to deal with areas of improvement in Teaching and Learning.  

For DET schools, there are three occasions (QA1, QA2 and QA3) across the academic year when the quality of Teaching and Learning is formally appraised. These take place in the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms.
